SEBI Notification - SEBI MF Regulations, 1996 - Second amendment

SEBI, vide its notification dated 31 st October 2025 has amended SEBI (Mutual fund regulations), 1996, to broaden mutual fund investment scope to include REITs, tightens liquidity norms, aligns group-level exposure limits, and simplifies compliance and cost regulations—enhancing both diversification and investor protection in the mutual fund ecosystem.
