SEBI update: SEBI LODR ( 2nd Amendment) Regulation 2022

SEBI vide its notification dated March 22, 2022, made the provisions related to the separation of the posts of Chairperson and the Managing Director or the Chief Executive Officer as voluntary for listed entities.

Before the amendment, vide Regulation 17 (1B) of SEBI LODR Regulations, 2015, it was mandatory for top 500 listed entities to separate the posts of Chairperson and the Managing Director or the Chief Executive Officer. w.e.f. April 1, 2022.
